THE WINTER GAME

Your team.
A different kind
of challenge.

Young players competing for the ball on an indoor futsal court

Fewer players. Less space. More decisions.

Futsal gives players a chance to stay connected to the game through the winter: receive under pressure, find a teammate, change direction, and make the next decision quickly.

The Soccer Seeds league is for existing teams. Bring your players and your coach to compete in your age division. Teams are grouped by age and gender, with no separate skill-level divisions.

PROPOSED VENUEYMCA · Doylestown, Pennsylvania

Two courts, with separate courts for boys and girls. YMCA River Crossing Sports Center, 2500 Lower State Road, Doylestown, PA 18901. Court dates and hours are pending final YMCA approval.

info@soccerseeds.net

Is this a coached training program?

This is a league for teams to compete. Teams bring their own players and coach. Coaching sessions are not included in the league fee.

Can an individual player register?

The current plan is team registration. If you’re looking for a team, email Soccer Seeds with your player’s age group and we can discuss options; a team placement is not guaranteed.

Are boys and girls grouped together?

No. Boys and girls have separate divisions at each age from U9 through U14. There are no separate skill-level divisions in the current plan.

Will we play on both Saturday and Sunday?

Each team is planned for one game per playing weekend, on either Saturday or Sunday. Your team’s day and kickoff time will be shown in the schedule once divisions are formed.

Are there byes or an elimination playoff?

A full six-team division has no scheduled byes. All teams finish with a placement game: 1st vs 2nd, 3rd vs 4th, or 5th vs 6th, rather than an elimination bracket.

How many players can we roster?

Up to 18 eligible players may be listed on a team’s season roster. There is no additional game-day cap in the current league plan. Coaches decide how to rotate players during a 5v5 match.

Can a player play for more than one team?

Yes, including teams split from one outdoor roster. The player must be age-eligible, approved on each team’s roster, and have both coaches’ agreement. A player cannot represent both sides in the same match.

What should players wear and bring?

Clean, non-marking indoor shoes, shin guards, a team uniform and water. No cleats. Final ball and venue instructions will be included in the pre-season rules.

Are referees and player insurance included?

Referees are included in both proposed team fees: $675 for U9–U12 and $695 for U13–U14. Card processing fees are additional and will be shown before payment. League-specific insurance is being confirmed before registration opens; no separate US Youth Futsal membership is planned.

What happens if a game is canceled?

Sunday, February 28 is the proposed weather makeup option, subject to court availability. The final cancellation, refund, rescheduling and forfeit policies will be available before payment is requested.

When will registration and the schedule be available?

Registration will open after final YMCA approval and league requirements are confirmed. The registration deadline and schedule-release date will be announced at that time. You can email us now to request league updates.
